Task 6: Indian Legends
Where The Red Fern Grows is based upon a Cherokee Indian Legend. For this part of the webquest you will first read and briefly summarize three Native American legends. You will be required to turn in your summaries (copy of summary sheet to use if you lose yours).

Using the knowledge you gain from reading three legends, you will then write a legend of your own that explains a natural occurrence. Your story may contain a moral or a lesson. You will type your legend in a Google document making illustrations as part of the assignment. You will share your final draft with teacher to print, and then you will add your illustrations. Make sure you put spaces in your paper for your illustrations.
